Making Money Ebay

It seems to me that what Michael Naimark is saying is that he is dissapointed that it takes litigation to get large companies to respect others Patent Property Rights.
An interesting interpretation of someone elses words. Id be interested in hearing Mr. Naimarks reaction to your interpretation the reason will become clear in a moment

Mike Masnick constantly acts like he understands the economics of invention business when he is clueless. The fact that opportunities like Interval Research are rare is related to recovering investments. The amounts involved in Interval's litigations and many others demonstrate that large entitlement minded companies are stealing on a grand scale.
and here would be the reason. Someone expresses an interpretation of someone elses opinion that differs from your own, and you accuse him of being clueless. Interesting.

Further, you go on to claim that the monies involved in the litigation demonstrate large entitlement minded [sic] companies are stealing on a grand scale. Care to provide any evidence to support this? Or is that more of your opinion that we are free to disregard on the merits of its worth?

It is a shame that it takes litigation in order for inventors and invention producing companies to be compensated.
Yeah, because gods forbid that the market, in an open-market economy, be the deciding factor on which products prosper and which ones dont. If your competitor offers a product better and cheaper than yours, why should the law dictate which I buy? That's a monopoly. And with a patent, it's a government-granted monopoly. If it's there to help you recoup for a limited time, fine. But if you're not even trying to recoup in the market (i.e. sitting on the patent and not doing anything with it or you bought the patent as a lawfirm), why should the law stop someone else from getting a product to the market that the consumers want?

The invention business is much like the wild west, and invention stealing large companies have forced inventors to have their own gunslinger in tow in the form of a litigator. Fault for the necessary to litigate lies completely with companies who act as if they have an inalienable right to to "innovate" through unauthorized use of inventors property.
Bullshit. They have a choice. There was an article not too long ago here that showed a company who found out their product was being counterfeited responded by saying you know what, well make ours better. Instead, litigants that you defend here are choosing to spend time, effort, and money on fighting instead of improving their idea.

And you know what Im not saying its the wrong decision not even most of the time but its still a choice. You dont get to assign blame as you see it and then absolve these litigants from their own responsibility for their choices. You're making some broad generalizations about 'idea pirates' and then blaming them for the actions of lawyers who are making a buck on the suit, not on the pursuit of innovation.

Making Money Without

Beer Money. The team of Robert Roode and James Storm have been tagging together since 2008, and are currently enjoying their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions.

Each man came from a successful tag team to form perhaps the best tag team that TNA has ever seen. But where do they rank among the best of all time?

Despite fans’ many criticisms of TNA, including my own, it appears that historically the company does seem to care more about its tag team division than WWE does.

Roode’s former faction Team Canada, Storm’s former team America’s Most Wanted, along with Team 3D, LAX, The Voodoo Kin Mafia, The British Invasion, Generation Me, and The Motor City Machine Guns, have all vied for TNA tag team gold in recent years.

The division has thrived since the beginning of the company, and has been featured on TV and pay per view.

Then there’s WWE.

We all know that the current state of tag team wrestling in WWE is virtually non existent, with the championships currently held by Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov.

Bound together by necessity, which is a polite way of saying that WWE creative didn’t really have anything for either guy to do, Marella and Kozlov have actually looked pretty good since winning the straps.

Now, everyone calm down, I didn’t say they were The Road Warriors or anything.

But, for the WWE, we can’t really hope for much more than the tired old formula of two mix-matched guys thrown together for the sake of a lousy, half-hearted push. When it comes to their tag team division, it’s par for the course.

My, how things have changed in this business.

Once upon a time, the National Wrestling Alliance not only featured the greatest singles wrestlers in the sport, its tag team division was second to none with The Rock n Roll Express, The Road Warriors, The Russians, The Midnight Express, The Minnesota Wrecking Crew.

These guys perfected the art of tag team wrestling, and gave Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, and Ricky Steamboat a run for their money when it came to the best match on the card.

Man, where’s the Wayback Machine when you need it?

Of course, WWE hasn’t always neglected its tag team division.

Arguably the greatest era for tag team wrestling in WWE was 2000 to 2001. Three teams came together for a tag team war the likes of which had not been seen since the 1980’s NWA. Three teams redefined tag team wrestling in the business with three little words: tables, ladders, and chairs.

Edge and Christian. The Hardy Boyz. The Dudley Boyz. Three of the best tag teams of all time, blowing the roof off of arenas all over the country every week, each team pushing the other, bringing out the best in every man involved.

This was, without a doubt, a tag team renaissance, a great time for fans who yearned for a revival of the division.

These guys all understood their roles in the company, and fought to carve their names into wrestling history, next to the greatest teams ever. They also wanted to steal the show, and give fans something to remember.

Mission accomplished on both counts.

But with the focus shifted away from tag team wrestling in WWE, and TNA looking to grow as a company, the art of tag team wrestling now has a new pair of Rembrandts. Beer Money.

Yes, that was impossible to say without a smile.

The truth is, Beer Money works on a couple of different levels. One, because of Roode, who brings an intensity and ice-cold determination to his character and approach as a heel. Two, because of James Storm, because he’s funny as hell.

I love this guy. He is a riot, and every time he opens his mouth, or for that matter, just smiles at someone, it’s comedy gold. He makes the team, gives them a bad-boy edge that would make Jake Roberts jealous.

James Storm’s gimmick works so well because it’s so normal. He’s just a guy with a cowboy hat and dark glasses with a beer in his hand.

He looks less like a wrestler and more like the lead singer in a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band. He plays the part so well, and is more comfortable in his gimmick than perhaps anyone in the promotion.

For me, Storm would be a star in either company, on any level.

Fortunately for fans, right now he is one half of TNA’s biggest tag team, Beer Money. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoy this team and their work in the ring.

Aside from Storm’s comedy, the guy can work, and he is a great fit with Roode. Beer Money, in a lot of ways, is a throwback to the classic heel teams of the NWA.

They have the tough streak of The Minnesota Wrecking Crew, the finesse of The Midnight Express, and the swagger of Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard.

And much like these three teams had memorable feuds with The Rock n Roll Express, Beer Money has had a momentous run against The Motor City Machine Guns.

The pace and tempo of the Guns, matched up against the fierce ground and pound of Beer Money, have made for some great moments in TNA. Both teams are working hard to own the night, every time they set foot in the ring.

That’s what tag team wrestling is all about, and I for one am glad to see it happening again. The only question I have is, how long will Beer Money stay together, before TNA creative, such as it is, decides to split them up?

It would be a shame if their run as one of the best teams in the company lasts only three years. Beer Money deserves to have a legacy, an opportunity to be considered among the all-time greats. But perhaps that is not meant to happen in TNA?

Considering that WWE gave up on its tag team division years ago, the chances of seeing Storm and Roode work for Vince appear to be slim to none.

But, if given a chance, I have to believe that not only would Beer Money make the best of it, they would do what they continue to do every week in TNA: steal the show.

It’s an interesting bit of speculation, when it comes to debating Beer Money’s place in tag team history. Perhaps it’s too soon for that. Perhaps as Storm and Roode continue to build their reputation week in and week out, we should just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Let the renaissance begin…again.

It goes without saying that having a heavy right foot while driving tends to waste fuel while creating more carbon emissions than desired, but altering driving habits can be a pretty tricky process. Good thing the Eco-Navigator device is here to help, where it will let you know how to get to your destination courtesy of Navteq maps of the U.S., Canada, Europe and China – but its goodness doesn’t end there. The Eco-Navigator will also deliver high-speed Internet access into your vehicle’s cabin, while making sure you arrive at your intended appointment in the greenest method possible. Plugged into your car’s diagnostic port, it will then monitor and display a number of vehicle parameters. Selecting Eco-Drive will show your current miles-per-gallon, throttle position (as a 0-100 percentage), and pounds of CO2 emitted per mile. This helps you figure out and adjust your driving style accordingly, and it is definitely not something to look at when you’re in a mad rush. The Eco-Navigator will retail for $249 a pop if you’re interested.

Stock Making Money

Insider Disclosure?

There are some aspects of this event that could attract interests from the SEC.  For example, 50 Cent did not disclose that he purchased about 13% of H&H Imports, consisting of shares and warrants, in a private placement back in November, 2010.

According to another article at Hotstocked.com, the price per unit was $0.10 and thus the total investment made by the rapper amounted for $750,000.  But the article went on to say "It looks like the warrants have also been already exercised," and the actual number of shares owned could as many as 30 million, which is the number cited by the NY Post article.

From $412k loss to $8.7 Million Profit?

Using just the $0.10 per share and $750,000 as the cost base, the stock’s 4.5 cents price on Thursday Jan. 6—right before the pump tweets—could represent a paper loss of $412,500 to 50 Cent, at the minimum.  (Yes, this is loose change to the rapper mogul, as 50 Cent net worth is estimated to be $480 million, but Martha Stewart had served time for far less.)  Furthermore, making claims like “double your money right now” to investors is simply a big no no.

"Alternative Exchange"...For Good Reason

However, what really boggles my mind is the fact that 9.24 million shares were traded in two days flocking to a high risk penny stock largely on celebrity tweets!

I’m not sure if anybody invested in the stock has bothered to do any due diligence homework. First of all, there’s a reason these Pink Sheets stocks are listed on the “alternative exchange” – they are not exactly financially sound and highly speculative.

Then, there’s this small matter that H&H Imports does not even have an official company website.  Of course, the various and extremely vague business descriptions from Yahoo Finance, and Google Finance only further affirm one of the typical penny stock's characteristics.

NY Post also reported that as of Sept. 30, the company has accumulated a deficit of $3.3 million and in March its auditor raised questions about its ability "to continue as a going concern," the company has said in financial documents.”

Ok, ‘nough said.

Pump, But Not Sure About Dump

The stock, after peaking at 39 cents on Jan. 10, has since dropped almost 31% to close at $0.27 on Friday, Jan.13. So, apparently there’s some dumping going on.  Nevertheless, I personally am quite flabbergasted at the apparent faith behind the stock as it is still way above its low of 4.5 cents.

Anyway, for now, there’s no indication that 50 Cent has sold his holdings to complete the “pump and dump” cycle as some have suspected him of.  I guess we will leave it to the SEC and other regulatory agencies to sort it all out.

Meanwhile, there seems to be some PR coaching coming through in the more recent tweets by 50 Cent such as this one:

By Dian L. Chu, EconForecast

"[H&H Imports] Stock went from 5 cent to 10 in one day. You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford." [H & H Imports has]…15 products this year. If you get in technically I work for you. BIG MONEY." If you think you are reading the script of Boiler Room, you probably are not that far off. These are actually statements, according to Guardian, broadcasted by rapper 50 Cent on twitter, the social media site, on which 50 Cent has over 3.8 million followers. (The original tweets have been removed from 50 Cent's Twitter account.)

290% Pump = $8.7 million Paper Profit

H&H Imports is a penny stock traded on Pink Sheets under the ticker HNHI.  Apparently, 50 Cent’s 3.8 million followers heeded his tweets, as HNHI shares saw a 290% jump in one day on Jan. 10, 2010 (See Chart).  This is not one of those paid promotions that celebrities sometime do, and by NY Post’s account, that pop also translates into $8.7 million paper profit for 50 Cent.  That means 50 Cent owns about 30 million shares of the stock.

(Yes, this is loose change to the rapper mogul, as 50 Cent net worth is estimated to be $480 million, but Martha Stewart had served time for far less.)  Furthermore, making claims like “double your money right now” to investors is a big no no.

"Alternative Exchange"...For Good Reason

However, what really boggles my mind is the fact that 9.24 million shares were traded in two days flocking to a high risk penny stock largely on celebrity tweets!

Finding useful financial information these days is complex. If you want to be successful in the stock market, keep these five basic guidelines in mind. Rather than focusing on numbers and statistics, let's take a moment to focus on a clear mindset and simple strategies.

Simple Success #1: Buy Low - Sell High

No guideline is more basic to making money in the stock market than to buy low and sell high. When the stock market bottomed out earlier this year, it presented us with a buying opportunity. Sure, the economy was in shambles and the government was freaking out. But many investors have made a lot of money since then because they were willing to buy into a market that was low.

I also wanted to buy in and I talked with a friend about it. He said, "no, things are too unstable to buy now, you better wait." Instead of listening to my friend, I followed my instincts and bought into a mutual fund. I've now made a few hundred dollars because the market was so low and I thought it could only go up. I've been rewarded because I was paying attention and took a risk.

Simple Success #2: Pay Attention to Investment Professionals

Even though I have an opinion on investing and have had a little success this summer, I am not an investment professional. I have to read and spend some time watching television to stay on top of the investment environment. You need to pay attention to what the investment professionals are saying.

Everyone has their own diverse opinion. You have to sort through the extreme opinions and find the midpoint of all the advice available. Once you find reliable sources with a good track record, you'll become comfortable in discerning good information from bad.

Simple Success #3: Key an Eye on the Broader Economy

What is the unemployment rate? Are interest rates going up or down? Are consumers buying, saving, or just plain confused? Are companies expanding or contracting? This is the kind of information you can gather on the radio on the way to work or reading a few articles during your lunch hour.

Having an idea of what others are doing will give you an idea of what you should be doing. Investing in the stock market can lead to success if you balance the right time to go with the flow with the right time to be a contrarian. This summer I chose to be a contrarian and it paid off.

Simple Success #4: Invest 20% of Your Savings in Mutual Funds

The stock market is in a narrow trading range as I type. It may not be the best time to invest a large portion of your savings. Keep most of your savings liquid and in a savings or money market account. But don't wimp out with a 1% return. Take 20% of your available savings and invest in the stock market wisely.

Invest in mutual funds that are broadly diversified, rather than individual stocks. I don't have the time to research companies and stocks. Instead, I have found mutual fund companies that I am comfortable with and choose a handful of their funds to invest in. Keep it simple and you can make a nice return.

Simple Success #5: Spend Time Learning About Money

You have to either do the research yourself, or pay an investment professional to manage your savings portfolio. I don't have the resources where I need to pay an investment pro, so I have chosen to do a little research on my own.

Take the time to do your research. Nothing comes to us by accident. We have to take the time to learn and grow; otherwise, we'll lose the money we have worked hard to earn. If you do have significant resources, it is probably worthwhile to pay an investment pro to manage your money.

Making a legitimate return in the stock market takes time, money, and information. Using these five basic guidelines will help you to get started on the road to finding a little financial success.

Vice President Biden Wipes Away Tears as He Thanks US Troops in Iraq for Service, Sacrifice

January 13, 2011 10:41 AM

ABC News’ Karen Travers reports:

Speaking to US troops at Al Faw Palace in Baghdad today, Vice President Biden grew emotional, wiping tears from his eyes and his face, as he talked about wounded servicemembers and the sacrifices that so many have made.

Describing how he and his wife, Jill, spend Christmas visiting patients at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Biden wiped a tear away from his eye as he said that he is always struck by the same question that so many wounded veterans ask him.

“Almost without exception the only request that I get is ‘Mr Vice President, can you help me get back to my unit?’” he said.

Biden again wiped his face as he explained how he wished the world could see what he does – “young women and men, not so young sometimes, who don’t ask a thing for all that they’ve done and you wonder how in god’s name can they do this?”

Biden often speaks in very personal terms about the men and women serving in the military – his son Beau spent a year deployed to Iraq with the Delaware Army National Guard's 261st Signal Brigade.

The vice president later apologized for keeping the troops waiting – he was late to deliver the remarks.

He said that he did not plan on getting emotional, but would not apologize for the “intensity” of the feelings that he shares with so many Americans for the sacrifices the men and women of the military are making on behalf of their country.

“We owe you – we owe you more than we can ever repay you,” Biden said. “But the amazing thing to me is how after all that you’ve done, so few of you expect anything, even thanks.”

This was Biden’s seventh trip to Iraq as vice president and he noted that he has been there more than 17 times total. He came to Baghdad this week to meet with Iraqi political leaders in the Green Zone

Biden said earlier this morning that he was in Baghdad to “help the Iraqis celebrate the progress they made.”

“They formed a government. And that's a good thing. They have a long way to go,” he said of the coalition government that came together in December, after nine months of difficult negotiations.

In an interview, a former credit card thief talks about some of the scams he used to run on unwary consumers. It's got some good takeaways for protecting yourself, like the one where you make up fake answers to security questions. With all the info that can be found online now some of these security questions aren't that hard to figure out. So instead of putting down the real answer to "What's your mother's maiden name?" put down "unicorn princess."

The idea of making money on line is always welcomed by most people. Who wouldn't want to earn on-line and to be getting an income from this source hence, improving financial freedom? There are just lots of methods that one can come out with when it comes to on-line money making. First of all, it's important to research the sites that you are going to join or participate. Are they legit sites, need a minimum sum or stuff like that.

In any situation for on-line money making, organizing one's interests would be very helpful to shortlist the different methods available. There are lots of methods like getting paid to blog, writing articles and gaining from ad revenue, being paid a revenue share for writing, writing sites for clients to outsource, writing letters to submit to a bank of other letters for customers to choose from, paid to review sites, affiliate programs and many more. The list is just endless and there are just enormous ways of on-line money making. In my own personal observation, I notice that there are lots of people liking the idea of paid to blog. That is one of the best methods of earning money.

A lot of people are saying that it's best to not invest in any money at all for your on-line quest. To shed your dollar means something is not right. That's the general rule. There are perhaps lots of people out there making it in their best interest to only participate in free to join websites. However, I think there are legit sites out there with a low minimal fee like for instance, to purchase referrals and gain a bigger ads view per day. This is evident in PTC or what they call Paid to Click programs. There are just aplenty; some are still running while others are either already closed down or total scams. Therefore, be vigilant when choosing your programs. Next off will be the payment options. Choose the right kind of option. There are lots of people using Pay-Pal as well as Alert-Pay. Read the FAQs of each site and get to know their policy and what kind of payment options they are offering. Some only pay in checks so do take note in this kind of situation, you cannot use your Pay-Pal account to receive earnings.

In a way, this on-line money making method and/or various free to join websites can be your ideal work from home idea and some people are so successful that they have been making it their full-time job. However, if you are starting out, it's best to not resign your job for different people success vary definitely. Normally for a site that you are going to work for, say in writing sites, forums or anything at all, there will most probably be a community talk there. It can either be through their Help section, special forum panel and there are even some sites where members can leave testimonials. You can roughly estimate from there; whether the site is worth working for or not. Most sites cite in their terms and conditions that the registered member is an independent contractor. Read the clause and make yourself understand all the terms and words being used. In other words, do your research well.

Some money making sites are even providing a chart on article statistics or traffic coming to which article of yours. This instance is very familiar with Associated Content website and I totally dig this feature. It is a great analyzer for me, really. Summarily, with a little or lots of efforts, honest sites are there and they do pay members whom work hard. Do your research and never give up. Good luck for your quest..
